IPC A-610 Certification For Specialist
IPC A-610 Certification is a 3-day, lecture openly courses utilizing the text and images in the IPC A-610 inspection document to provide visual accept/reject criteria examples for all three classes of products. The IPC A-610 Certification for “The Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies”, is the most widely used inspection specification for the PWB assembly industry and is the basis for the class.
The IPC 610 Certification specification will be covered in its entirety. As an option, we can also instruct a customized version to multiple students requiring specific knowledge. As part of the requirements for IPC certification, IPC A-610 CIS candidates must score at least a 70% on each exam.

Successful participants walk away with a 2-year industry credential. It is helpful that students have familiarity with component identification and ESD principals as well as having a 5th grade or better reading/writing skill level when enrolling in this class.
